This iconic landmark, which resembles a giant picture frame, stands as a testament to Dubai’s remarkable transformation from a humble past to a dazzling present and a visionary future. The Dubai Frame is not only an architectural masterpiece, but also a symbol of innovation and creativity that has put Dubai in the international spotlight. It opened in January 2018 and is located in Zabeel Park. With a height of 150 metres and a width of 93 metres, the huge, picture frame-like structure symbolically connects the old and new Dubai. The Dubai Frame was designed by award-winning architect Fernando Donis, who won the concept in an international competition. The structure is clad in golden stainless steel panels and reflects the city’s magnificent architecture.
